Hi, I’m Elisa — a Milan-based writer, researcher, copywriter, and editorial strategist working across fashion, design, art, and culture.

After graduating from London College of Fashion with a degree in Fashion Journalism, I began collaborating with leading brands, agencies, and publications. My writing has appeared in Vogue Italia, Cabana, Wallpaper, British Vogue, Conde Nast Traveler, Monocle’s Konfekt, and more, where I’ve explored subjects ranging from art, emerging design, fashion, and beauty to cultural phenomena. Recently, I contributed an essay to Apartamento’s book series with Belmond, reflecting on the interplay between literature, food, and desire in Neapolitan culture.
As a consultant, I support brands through copywriting, tone of voice, and editorial and social strategy. Projects have included developing a content strategy for Happy Socks, shaping the voice for Maccapani, writing brand copy for Rimowa and MM6 Margiela, contributing to Bvlgari’s magazine TITOLO, producing localization copy and voice-overs for Bumble and Brancamenta, working with Swarovski across global communications and copywriting, and conducting cultural research for Karla Otto and Axis Mundi, and so much more. My approach is rooted in bridging storytelling with brand identity to create communications that resonate.
In 2019, I co-founded Sali e Tabacchi Journal, an international, independent publication that investigates Italy’s overlooked rituals and traditions through the lens of contemporary creativity. The journal has since grown into a platform for cultural collaborations, branded content, and books, including a guide to Umbria and a series produced with Pistoia’s Ondo gallery.
I currently lecture on journalism and creative media at IED and NABA, and have also given talks and guest lectures at universities including Design Academy Eindhoven, SUPSI, and Politecnico di Milano. My work has also brought me to institutions such as Galleria Continua Paris, Triennale Milano, Vogue Italia’s The Vogue Closet, ADI Design Museum, and Cinema Beltrade, where I’ve shared projects, presented books and magazines, and explored the intersections of storytelling and design.
Beyond this, I co-founded Ghiribizzi, an educational project that nurtures creative experimentation among children.
Whether writing, curating, consulting, or teaching, my work is rooted in a passion for storytelling — and in the belief that ideas have the power to inspire and connect.

SALI E TABACCHI JOURNAL
SALI E TABACCHI JOURNAL
In 2019, I co-founded Sali e Tabacchi Journal with art director Leonardo Pellegrino. The publication delves into the relationship between the creative arts and Italy’s lesser-known rituals, habits, and traditions. Distributed worldwide by Edicola 518/Emergenze Publishing & Distribution in Italy and Antenne Books internationally, the journal serves as both a magazine and a platform for curated editorial and experiential projects.
Through Sali e Tabacchi Journal, we’ve collaborated with brands on branded content, special projects, and events for Babbi 1952, Carhartt WIP, Corneliani, Massimo Alba, Portofino Dry Gin, Tenuta Tenaglia, Habitare, and Villa D’Este. We’ve also commissioned original artworks in collaboration with Milan’s famous bronze foundry Fonderia Battaglia as catalysts for agency-led projects. We have published books, including a guide to Umbria and an ongoing series for the Tuscany-based art gallery space Ondo.
In 2021, we launched Sali e Tabacchi Journal’s newsletter, Cartolina, further extending our storytelling into a digital format.
As a team, we’ve hosted talks, workshops, and events at renowned venues such as the PhotoVogue Festival, Politecnico di Milano, IED, Alcova during Design Week 2021, Galleria Continua, and the ADI Museum, alongside international locations in New York, Paris, and London.
Recent highlights include the launch of our Riv.05: La Via del Fuoco issue at Fonderia Battaglia in collaboration with Carhartt Wip Italia and Tina Maccheroni, a Pasta Ecologies Workshop with Forno London, a pop-up at The Broken Arm in Paris, a one-week magazine-making workshop at SUPSI, and events during Design Week 2023 at DOPO Space and Spring Studios.
